Areas of Study: This studio is one that believes in a philosophy of Total Percussion. This means that we will be working on all different areas of percussion including: Snare Drum, Mallet Percussion, and Drum Set. While students may want to focus on one specific area of percussion, we will be learning about all of the different instruments and how to properly play each of them.

Practice: Daily, consistent practice is crucial to getting better at anything. Music is no different. Spending thirty (30) minutes a day on the material that we are working is necessary to getting the most out of the lessons. I highly recommend purchasing a note book to log practice times as well as what was practiced. 

​

Materials: It is important that students bring all of the material that are needed for the lesson that day (sticks, mallets, notebook, solos/method books, etc.). Some of the larger materials like snare drum and mallet instruments are not necessary to bring to each lesson as they are provided by the studio. Recommendations can be given for the materials that are necessary for lessons.

Communications: Students and parents are encouraged to get in contact with any questions by email (anytime) or by phone (9am to 7pm).

Lesson Price: Lesson are for 30 minutes or 60 minutes. Payments can be cash or check. Any cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance for a rescheduled lesson.
